I'm still having issues with the 201 bios and TCCD. So I switched back to 126, then I eventually put the EB in instead, which I can run at 250MHz 3-2-2-7, which is pretty quick. Seems 100% stable Should have a new FX-55 arriving today.

Hehe, it just arrived. Week 42 one, not sure if that's good or not, but it should be better than the two I've already tried. Sammy, you'll be pleased to hear that they are not all mine Fortunately I work for an online store in the UK, so I get to try a few things out occasionally

What nforce driver version are you runing ?? The 6.37's on the SFI CD gave me mucho BSOD's after installing video card drivers >>> So I then installed the 6.39's and all is well.

It may not be your prob but it's worth a shot...with new stuff some times you have to try every combo your mind can conceve

Dont feel all alone on the TCCD thingie.

My PDP with XBL {TCCD} were giveing me problems in this board runing PI or really doing anything above 250...they worked perfectly in the NEO2 @ 275

So some of my buddys ribed me saying it's cause they wernt OCZ TCCD...So I like a dumb a_ _ went and got some OCZ plat rev2........low and behold I can bench 3D Mark all of them @285x10 cas2.5-3-3-7-1t now why am I un happy ??

Because not a single game I play will last over 10mins with out a either a drop to the desk top or BSOD...so down to 275 I go same prob, now down to 260 same prob..down to 250 same prob...240 GAMES PLAY as long as I want with out ISSUE

OK so about now who ever is reading this is think dude it's your PSU, a heat issue, or dude it's CPU, or dude it's your timings

Well DUDES I can stick my Ballistix PC4000 in set to 265x11 cas 2.5-3-3-7-1t 3.0vdimm.....and I have 0 {zero} benching or Gameing issues and I get 200 point more in sandra mem....so kinda blows the it's your PSU/Timings/ ect ect out-o-the water

Thanks for doing the trouble shooting for me. I was going to get DFI-SLI and some OCZ Plat Rev.2 for OCing and gaming. If you have stability OCing and gaming with the Ballistix PC-4000 I might get that instead. Isn't that BH-5?

Is the TCCD problems bios related and has the mods at the DFI forums said anything about a TCCD fix?

I cant say if it's just me haveing this problem or not..but it;s happened with 2 sets of diff brand of TCCD's

I'm not knocking any one..I just think alot of good reports are comeing from those that only bench, and prime....not long periods of intense gameing.

The Ballistix have Micron chips

If it didn't hurt, why would you switch back. It may have other fixes that may effect you later.

Why am I, and maybe one or two others, the only ones that TCCD runs fine in the board? I don't get it. I thought it may be the FX55 users, but I see yours is fx55 too.

Go figure, I had just the opposite, as I saw some others did. 639 crash, 637 fine. I hear the 639 may have some network issues, but you seem ok, again I don't get it.

I'm sure that you are on to something here, but I can't figure out what might be the cause of this anomoly.

Blue, I saw this post about the drivers:

"OH BTW: If people are having corrupted installs or problems with the NCQ SATA2 drives, I believe it is general nforce4 prob... I would recommend turning OFF NCQ in device manager if you are running nforce drivers that are prior to v 6.39...

The 6.39 nforce package also helped with the BIOS Detection of my NCQ drives with nforce4

However, one should be cautious with the ethernet driver in the 6.39 package. I had to roll mine back to the previous version to avoid BSOD during high net usage"

I have given up on the TCCD for the time being. I can run stuff with Micron chips, such as the EB at 250MHz 3-2-2-7 which is plenty fast, no issues. I'm now away from home so can't test the new FX-55 and TCCD.
