As Blue mentioned earlier, frame rates don't suffer that much at 2T. The 2GB Ballistix kit seems to perform best at 3-3-3-8. The guy at XS says he can run his PQI at DDR500 with 2.5-4-4-8 and 2.8v on his Intel system. But he never showed any results with those timings.

Both these sets could probably do it on your setup. I think it's just my board. Sometimes it will run stable and sometimes not at 2.5-3-3 at 300. I am really surprised at how similra the 440 and 519's are. it got to the pint where I couldn't tell them apart by what they would do.

I am running on a kollance setup, is running at 1.55V 24/7 going to hurt a chip that has a stock vCore of 1.35V?

My 3.0c had a Stock vCore of 1.55v and the highes I would up th voltage was 1.7V (because of the IC7-G undervolting issue) that is a Delta of .15V. What anandtech is showing is a delta of .2V, is this recommended?

Again, I dont have a lot of experience with AMD so I am not sure how resilient they are.

Thanks!
Ken
I don't think it will hurt it.

My only concern is if _ _ Z sent you cherry sticks it dont look so hot. If they are randomly picked well then their may be hope

Me thinks I'll stick with Corsair and Gskill awile.
All of their new line ned to be somewhat cherry picked. They are trying to save face from the TCC5 fiasco. Unfortunately I may end up with some 4800 tcc5 in warranty exchange for my 4200 tccds that died, but then again I got a tccd set for free so I can't complain.

With that ABIT----that may be a perfect match if some of the air is forced through that little radiator that cools the chipset.

Also----that fan is big enough and high enough to spread air over the RAM and mosfets....

You may have a winner there!! Kind of a one fan cools all scenario-----and VERY quiet!!!!

I still think that THE air cooler to get is the upcoming Zalman CNPS9500 LED. They compare it to water cooling and say it will ouperform any air setup on the markey today and be quiet. Out in August.

I would think you will get a set of TCC5 4200 like I got for RMA. Its pretty good RAM as long as you use trcd=4. I am not disappointed with mine, it could have been much worse.

He told me at least 4800 regular plats, but I tried to talk him in to the Elite exchange which has guaranteed tccd chips.

I may jump on the 2GB train because I think Longhorn will need it for what we do, but I think that if I wait a bit, someone will come out with something pretty decent soon.

You got coaxed more from those sticks than just about anyone I've seen. My hats off to you on that
