I've ran into the same thing time and time again, I could PI32M, or prime until the nuclear clock lost time, and still a game might bring those setting to their knees.

Been using 32M and Prime as the First round of stability testing. Get those going and then see what needs to be adjusted down for gaming.

After 2 reboots I loaded stock settings 2200Mhz ram 2-2-2-5 2.8v and system was stable. So it looks like I have not lost all stability, just some of my OC stability. This is the first problem I have had with this DFI (or CPU), I hope I can figure it out soon, this kind of thing drives me nuts.
I saw ya on this server tonight Eldonko, but I couldn't join it because it is a different version. It isn't the newest 1.02 hotfix version

I vote you get it!!!!

It's not game stability I'm worried about, there is something wrong with my system. I am still running tests, priming and such. TCC5 doesn;t work hardly at all and BH OCs dropped.

I was playing BF2 last week before the problems at 308 x 10 (166 div) = 257Mhz @ 3.4v. Now I have to drop to 300 x 10 (166) = 250Mhz with the same voltage. That was stable the last couple hours but I am not sure if it is totally stable yet.

I have some noob BF2 questions for you guys. Are there patches or any tweaks I should be running/doing? How does the ranking system work, I have been online a bunch of time and when I go into BFHQ its all 0's in my stats. When I tried to join the ranked server from the BFHQ screen I got a message saying I need the original BF2 version, but I have it.

THere are 2 patches you need, and you need to play on ranked servers for it to track your stats I think. There is patch 1.01 and 1.02 hotfix. Once you install these though, you wont be able to play on that server until they update the server to these patches. Fileplanet has the patches, or I could send them to ya if you want.

This is an overclocking thread, not a gaming thread. I don't have a problem with people talking about gaming. But if that's the only thing people are going to talk about here, then I'm going to move the entire thread to the gaming section.

Hey, there is a certain comfort in knowing that you are surfing the net at 10,000 gigaherz.

Off topic: Anyone see that gas prices rose overnight .30 to .90 per gallon? This is getting way out of control.
