VGPU was at 1.65v. Was going to try 1.75v, but the board died. It's hard for me to say which board is faster since I did only one serious 3D run with the SLI-DR. The Neo2 is still fast, no question about that.

I just know that Jumbo Frames are supposed to reduce CPU usage even more during heavy transfers. Might be worth looking into...

Yes it is I'll ask my brother about it, he's a sys admin for WorldCom. He's the one that showed me the force full 1000mbs trick. Even though every NIC on a certen network segment my be a giga bit NIC, and your runing through a giga bit switch, if left to Auto negoate often you'll only connect at 100mb.

Angry

The Ultra-D is driving me crazy. I keep losing my display when I turn my monitor off before I go to bed and leave computer running and turn the monitor back on the next day. Windows is still running fine. I have to power down, clear CMOS, and power up, to get display back.

I'm just trying to get this thing to run at stock speed/settings stabily.

Using GeForce 6800 GT (75.90 Driver release), BIOS 217, All power save modes are OFF (as far as I can tell).

I might try changing video drivers to latest WHQL (71.81). Not that WHQL means anything.

I'm runing SLI so their might be some differences, but those 75.90 drivers gave me HE_ _ I had all sorts of strange things happen.

Like sound in Doom3 would stop exactly 1 min into the game, I'd have to reboot to get sound back, then Doom3 would give me a pink screen on the next startup after the above happened. I could uninstall the drivers, and reinstall them and then the Doom3 would start up, but sound would die, and the cycle started all over again

Infact the 67.66's are te only drivers that I havent had any issues with thus far. The 71.84's wont let me OC my cards 1mhz ????? with the 67.66's I'm runing fine @440/1100 ?????? I give up and am sticking with the 67,66 for awile

I should read things a bit more carefully before wielding the credit card . I can't OC my 6800gt's 1mhz (they're watercooled) and I'm using the 71.84's. I assumed it was the PSU and just ordered a Rev2 Enermax Noisetaker 600w. Oh well.....

It's the drivers. Lots of people have posted at nVnews forums about not being able to over clock or for that matter underclock with the 71.84 drivers.

Do your self a huge favor and try the 67.66 drivers. http://downloads.guru3d.com/download...71453bdcf6e06b

Ordered the Corsair TCCD today. It should do pretty good from what I have read in the review by Wes Fink.

[ot]The Corsair BH-5 I have should be sent out for RMA tomorrow. They want me to try doing one last test before requesting a RMA. Lets see here, I get random reboots and numerous errors while using any program I have and memtest gives me 100+ errors during an eight to twelve hour period. I have tried each stick seperatly in all 4 slots. One gives me error while the other stick doesn't. That is at default speeds using 2.7v.[/ot]
