pccanada has 146 for $217CAD or so, not too bad, cheapest in Canada AFAIK. The reason the 146 is so expensive everywhere is because the supply is so low. I dont get why everyone wants 146s though when 148s are more avail and cheaper.

Ya, kidding! lol Do you know if it also affects other USB devices as well? I'm asking because I also have moments where my Lexmark P915 printer also has trouble being recognized (turning it off and on again fixes it) much like with the Razer mouse.

$182 for the Opty146 at Vibe...just not in stock like so many other places. If you can be assured that pccanada.com has them in stock (a phone call or e-mail maybe?) for $217 then I would probably go for it.

I have the Razor Copperhead. It also has USB issues. Too bad, because the mouse is awesome when it works right.

I agree. I love my Diamondback Special Edition! It's the perfect mouse for me and now I may have to give it up and go with a mouse that I am not going to enjoy or that will not meet my needs. Time for me to send my "Dear John" letter to Razer I guess.

I'll take any further converstaion about this over to the Peripherals thread where it now belongs since it certainly looks like it is not an issue with the DFI mobo.

AMD CPU price changes are supposed to be happening on the 23rd. Article. Retailers are confirming the Opti price hikes as well.

X2 and FX-57 going down, All Optis except the 180 going up. FX-57 going down $200, hmm maybe I can afford one now.

My razor does the same thing. I have it plugged into the usb hub on my monitor so I just unplug and plug it back in and it works. I have not had the other USB issues described.

Thumbs up This thread is huge...and very helpful

Just got the Expert up and running. Gotta say I really like this board.

Sierra your tips on the first page are priceless. Thank you (and a big thanks also goes out to all the contributors in this thread) for all of the information. The tips definately saved me some frustration.

Now if I can get this puppy to do 250X12 with my X2 I will be a happy camper.

Best of luck ShoNuff. I'm sure Sierra would wish you the same if he were still here. Like you, he has helped so many and is missed. (He is OK, just moved on)
However, there are many still here who are knowledgable & willing to help if you need it

Lucky again! Just received notification from an office in Thailand that my new Redlines will be on the way today or Monday...could it be the last set I'll be able to get? Have to wait & see.

GSkill GBH is decent RAM too, and it is BH so timings will go slightly tighter.
