NF4 (sli) and 2x512 Mushkin pc3500 (BH5) can't get to 1T?

(I've got an A8N-SLI Deluxe and a 3500+ winchester)

I've been able to clock them down to 2-2-2-6 up to the rated 217mhz but even at 200mhz I can't get the damned things to run at 1T, it'll post but generates a BSOD as soon as Windows tries to start.

has anybody been able to set these things to 1T or am I stuck at 2T till I get new ram?

stumpjumper, I am going to move this thread to the NVidia chipset forum under the A64 forums. I think that your question will be noticed more quickly there by our AMD experts.

Have you tried using different dimm slots?

A8N-SLI Deluxe doesn't seem to like double sided BH-5 i.e. 512MB sized BH-5 i tried

2x 512MB OCZ PC3500 Plat LE BH-5
2x 512MB Kingston HyperX KHX3200/512 BH-5
2x 512MB Corsair XMS3500C2v1.1 BH-5

and they all only manage around 225-233mhz 2-2-2-6 1T even with 3.4v vdimm which is 25-30mhz short of what they can do!

But 2x 256MB KHX3200K2/512 BH-5 and 2x 256MB XMS3500C2v1.1 BH-5 work up to 237-245mhz 2-2-2-6 1T at 3.4v still below they're 260-270mhz 2-2-2-6 maxes on other boards.

It's an A8N-SLI Deluxe issue, only ram seems to do same on P4/s754 as A8N-SLI is 2x 512MB OCZ PC3700EB @ 245-249mhz 3-2-2-8

i'd try using 1 stick and stock speeds/timings to load into windows and use asusupdate in windows to flash to 1004.01 bios

as for the Bios I didn't know 1.004.01 was out yet
