| Asus P4C800-E & Memtest86 lockups I have been stress testing/overclocking the P4C800-E I bought a few days ago. I have found with this board that, after 1 successful pass in Memtest86 (with all tests being run), the program locks up. I don't get any errors, but the clock and test progress bars just freeze. I have 4X512 of Corsair 3500 XMS. I am using a 3.0C that is right now @ 220 FSB stock voltage with the 266MHz memory divider (I'm trying to see how much FSB I can get). In Windows XP, I can loop 3DMark03 with Prime 95 in the background for 4 1/2 hours with no problems in either application. Should I be concerned with the Memtest lockups? I have heard that Memtest86 v3.0 doesn't always "play nicely" with HT enabled processors and dual channel chipsets. Opinions/comments/further questions welcomed.

| Did you turn off Legacy USB Support in your BIOS? I know MemTest86 will lock up on a P4C800 Deluxe if you don't turn off legacy USB support, and I would suspect the same thing would happen on a P4C800-E.

| I hope that a new version of Memtest86 fixes this problem because disabling USB legacy support in the BIOS is a real pain in the *** if one has a USB keyboard (like me)! I forgot to mention that, occasionally during Memtest86, that the P4C800-E would beep like it does when it's on the POST screen. I found that sort of odd.
