I'm just curious here. If there is a failure during a BIOS flash, does Asus allow you to recover the old BIOS?

No, If a BIOS flash goes bad you have to send the board in to ASUS to have the BIOS re-loaded,I know cause it happend to me. The good news is it only cost me $7 to ship it to them, they flashed the chip and sent it back to me FREE! And they sent it back next day air. So I was without the board for 6 days. I thought this was pretty good service.

Thanks! I was a bit squirmish about that issue, but it appears it's nothing to worry about.

My thanks also, it's re-assuring to know. I'm new to Asus and still haven't put my new system together yet, but it takes the worry out of flashing my bios.
