Unhappy CUSL2-C SCSI controller problem

I'm using a CUSL2-C Black Pearl Bios 1006A with my Tekram DC 390U2W and themachine refused to recognise the SCSI-2 devices on the SE port after a warm reboot, even a reset doesn't make it. I've to switch of the machine and switch on again and all devicesare recognised properly.

This does not happen if i try the devices and the controller with my former Asus T2P4.

Any ideas?

heya webjunkie..
couple of things..
1 which PCI slot do you have the controller in???? make sure it is an unshared slor..cna't remember specifically which ones are....
2 in the bios there is a symbios SCSI enabled/disabled
not really sure what it does, but it may help...
hope this helps..

I agree with cryogen, make sure that the SCSI card is not conflicting or sharing with any other devices. Also check to make sure that the devices are terminated. When I put together my system, the terminator got partially dislodged and I had problems.
I believe that the SCSI reference in the Bios is for boards with on-board SCSI.

If it is broken, chances are the warranty is expired.

Specs (way out of date - I have a P4 now)
