IC7-G + Geil 3500UDC at cas 2? anyone doing it?

Just asking if anyone using Geil 3500UDC is able to get theirs running at cas 2-3-3-6 as it is advertised to run??

I have 2 sets of Geil 3500UDC 1024meg, thats 4 x 512meg sticks and neither of the sets will post at their rated timeings of 2-3-3-6. They will only post at 2.5-3-3-6, so cas 2 is a no post for me on the IC7-G with bios 1.6 and it was the same with bios 1.5 and 1.4

Both sets of modules are from batches labled Q203.

Increasing vdimm to 2.8V made no difference at all...they just won't post at cas 2 and all GAT settings are a no go, turbo will let me enter windows but will hardlock as soon as I open any program, SR and F1 are both a no post.

Recently I was informed that Geil stated that all modules released prior to August 03 were having problems running at their specified timeings, and their new modules released after August 03 have been tested and speced to run at their rated timeings.

Thanks in advance.

Friend of mine has an IC7-G and 2x256 Geil PC3700 with exact same problem. System will not POST at 1:1 cas2 no way, no how.

Interestingly, I'm having the same problem with OCZ EL PC3500 1 GB kit and Asus P4C800-E. Cannot do squat at 1:1 cas2, machine will not POST at all. Doesn't bother me that much since I'm actually preferring the 5:4 setting but STILL, the point is the RAM is not doing what it's advertised to do (DDR433, 1:1, 2-3-3-7). Pretty disappointing for premium RAM if you really had your mind set on running 1:1 I think.

I agree about this being disappointing.
