S4 is hibernation I believe and S3 is suspend to RAM, S5 is essentially off but it still provides power to the mobo. You have to pull the plug to be completely off.

Objectivity, Objectivity, Objectivity. Of course with rock stable boards like we have, that may be moot.

I did try to join the USMC once, they rejected me - my IQ was too high!

So instead, I enlisted in the Navy and quickly got offered the Seabees (I was a journeyman construction electrician in civilian life). Wound up serving with the "crotch" in Danang in '67. I love them guys, sincerely!!!

1. Is it correct that both a Northwood and Prescott processor fit on a D875PBZ Motherboard?
2. Is Northwood made from 0.13 micron silicium wafer and Prescott from 0.09 micron silicium wafer?

1: Prescott support requires a revision number of 207 or later. Most, if not all, of the D875PBZ boards now available are of the 303 series.
2: Go here for processor information: http://www.intel.com/products/deskto...ium4/index.htm
