The lack of updates is disapointing!, but just shows the maturity of our motherboard I think...

How are you doing?

Re: Intel DP45SG (Skyburg)

I am loving this board. It's very lean and cool running and fast at default settings which also means 100% stable. This board is very similar to the old D875PBZ except it is much cooler and has much better audio. I don't go into BIOS or play with IDCC much at all, I just use it. I did buy a new Motorola Surfboard MODEM. My old one was over 5yrs old and I've been dropping my connection in and out and my ISP doesn't know the problem. I also got a new mouse (HP Laser Gaming Mouse) and am very satisfied with it. One other thing I wanted was a back plate for my video card but I have given up on that. Everything is working great.

Re: Intel DP45SG (Skyburg)

Yeah, my X-Fi Titanium fatal1ty is 1000,000 times much better than the integrated sound from DP45SG, is like day and night in difference, some people still says that integrated sound is enought but that because

1) they have bad speakers
2) they haven't listened a true sound card

Re: Intel DP45SG (Skyburg)

I might get the Fatality next go around.

I have a minor issue that has arrisen since I installed the latest NVidia drivers I believe and that is that when the computer goes to S3 sleep state and then returns, my resolution is no longer correct. It is set to 1600x1200.

You already have 5.1 speakers. Trust me, the onboard integrated sound is nowhere near competant enough to drive 6 channels. Get a creative x-fi card at the least. The x-fi gamer is a cheap and very competant card.
