Software limit ?!
I don't get why you need to run at such high bus speeds. A bus speed of 437 means 3.9 GHz processor speed, assuming you're running a Q6600 or something.

Could you post your complete specs first, including memory type, make and model.

Nice! Which graphics cards do you have?

If you got a Q9650, you wouldn't need to take your FSB so high as the Q9650 has a mulitplier of 9 compared to 7 for the processor you're using.

Re: Intel DP45SG (Skyburg)

i have 2xATI *4870 at crossfire.
Master Card has 512MB (Sapphire)
Crossfirecard has 1024 MB (MSI)
should i change the cards ?
i got only 15 000 points @ 3d mark 06 (CPU @3,5 GHz C2D)

i cant go over 443 MHz FSB, because then the RAM clock goes over 666/1333 MHz ... i think there is a FSB limitier integrated

probably i buy a DFI X48 board ...

Hi: I asked for a RMA to Kingston and they replaced my 4 modules to a new ones (with a "Kingston" labeled chip instead of an "Elpida)
However, the hangs, with the 4 modules working at 1333, still appears.
Does anybody know how to resolve this issue?

Thanks

Re: Intel DP45SG (Skyburg)

Hello again: making some searches in this forum, I would like to share the problem I came across with.

If I run 4 kingston modules, 1333 mhz, at default values, vista, 7 and xp freezes after some minutes or hours.
If I set the memory to 1066, appears double booting and the system is stable.
Kinston RMAŽd the modules to a new ones

But, when the memory is set to 1333, the FSB ratio is 1:2
When is set to 1066, the FSB ratio is 5:8.

Does anything have to do this settings? Is is a voltage problem? Does anybody got to run stable the system with four modules at 1333 mhz?

Thanks again!

Could you post your CPU-Z main page and memory page screenshots for 1333MHz and 1066MHz? That will help us troubleshoot.

Re: Intel DP45SG (Skyburg)

i also have 4x kingston, ... 2x1066 2x1333, but same chips.

666MHz (x2 > 1333 RAM) are the limit (from the board) ... look at my screenshot ...

i think, that the bios of the intel board has too many bugs.

today i got my DFI X48 DDR3

good luck !

Re: Intel DP45SG (Skyburg)

460 MHz FSB Stable

http: // www .abload.de/img/15hd2.jpg

... my kingston DDR3 module are not compatible with my DFI X48 :-( because the BIOS is too old. so i tested a little my "old" intel DP45SG :-)
