help

When I attempt to install either of the above mentioned Intel chipset files, about 2/3 of the way through I'm asked for the disk containing the ATA drivers. I previously installed the ATA drivers, so I presume pressing "skip file" or "cancel" is ok at this step.

When I attempted to use the second link to the newer Intel Inf. files, (the 310.1011 ones), after the install went through, and I rebooted, I got an error saying something like, "unexpected error, missing .dlz at location.........".

Suggestions?

Rob

Boot into DOS mode with floppy and copy the missing/corrupt file from the NTuninstall folder over the bad file. When rebooting, if you notice a different file with same problem, do the same thing for it.

Question

BOOT to DOS and copy files between folders in an NTFS partition?

I DON'T think so!

Now, if the assumption the user has selected FAT32 for the W2K install, care to elaborate WHERE the NTuninstall directory you mention below is please?
