Just built a system with the CUSL2-C and the Probe reports my fan speed wrong, why

Hi
I just built a system using the CUSL2-C I installed the Probe that came on the disk. I connected the front case fan to the motherboard.
When it boots up, the Probe reports that the RPM's are under the minimum limit. Thinking that maybe the fan is faulty, I installed another brand new case fan. The probe also reported that one under the minimum (minimum set to 2200 rpms, tne lowest it can be set to }
So, is are the fans faulty, the probe or motherboard ? Not sure what version the probe is that came on the disk

ANy help would be appreciated

Try downloading the latest one that Gareth discovered. Asus has a habit of releasing new versions frequently. If this doesn't help then you might want to flash the board's bios to the lastest version (currently 1009). Good luck!

POWER FAN

On the motherboard there is power fan or cpu fan.
On the probe try checking and unchecking the cpu and the power fan . You may just have your fans plugged in different from what you think.

Are you sure the fan is plugged in to the right lead ?
Try MBM 5.09

I use MBM 5.08 and my fan works fine for a few hours but eventually it comes up with a fault and my RPM's are 0 and the CPU temp drops to 28 deg C. It's like the hardware monitoring chip quits working.
