@ 476 MHz 5-5-5-15 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS) / 24-918-0-15-8-4-6 (RC-RFC-CR-RRD-WR-WTR-RTP) I'm a bit uncertain of my memory settings. I've set the memory voltage to 1.75V and the timmings are @ 533 MHz (1066) 6-6-6-16 with memory ref freq. on 333 But i want to increase the FSB to 360 which memory settings shall i use ? | Re: OVERCLOCKING the Intel DP45SG Heya all, i am new to this forum, but it is the most complete series of threads on the dp45sg that ive found on the net. I your opinion on a choice i must make now. I have two kits of OCZ memory: The 2x2gb ocz fatal1ty edition ddr3 1333mhz (i can't post any urls...) that is currently running in my rig (dp45sg combined with E8400) it is rock stalbe, no OC yet. And i have the OCZ intel extreme 2x2gb ddr3-1600 kit that i had bought previously bought for a client. So my question is, i must sell one of the kits, i am not planning any OC yet, but as i know myself, i will do. BUT it seems to be problematic on this board to use some 1600 ddr3. So what you guys would do? Stick with the 1333 and try to push it, or put the 1600 i try for the board stability? Thanx for advises! Sk00maKing |

| Re: OVERCLOCKING the Intel DP45SG Try OC'ing with both and see what u get best stability with.

| Re: OVERCLOCKING the Intel DP45SG You could try both sets as suggested, but I would tend to think that could cause problmes in seating and removing etc. I would go with the stable 1300 set, the 1600 I don't think buys you anything---so sell that set--just my opinion.

You have to turn on Firewire in BIOS or else IDCC won't run, its a bug. I have had 0 luck OC this board and have tried 3 different 1600 DDR3 sticks. SuperTalent, Wintec, Mushkin, none of them worked. The best I could get was pushing the memory FSB at 1066 and even then the system was not stable plus you get the double starts. Stick to plain 1333 and you won't have any problems plus it is fast. Others users might have better success but I give up. | |

| Re: OVERCLOCKING the Intel DP45SG Preyingrazor, thank you very much for answer me so quickly. both say: the SPDs are programmed to JEDEC standard latency DDR3-1333MHz timing of 9-9-9 at 1.5V. the diferent are in: KHX1100 run 1375MHz at a latency timing of 9-9-9 at 1.6V and KHX1333 run 1333MHz at a low latency timing of 7-7-7-20 at 1.7V you understand my doubt ? |

| Re: OVERCLOCKING the Intel DP45SG you did not have to touch your 8GB Kingston 1333MHz DDR3 for you overclocking ?, i mean, these remain at 1.5v and the original latency ? other question, how is about G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Dual Channel Kit, I have heard that that also can serve |
