| Is P4C800 BIOS 1007 now final? I just went on http://www.asuscom.de/support/News/news.htm and it has the following entry: LiveUpd Bios P4P800 (Standard / Deluxe) 1007 Final (=1007 - 01 Beta) and when you clock on the "1007 final" it gives you a link to: ftp://ftp.asuscom.de/pub/ASUSCOM/BIO...4P800/1007.zip so, if the file is now just 1007.zip - - wouldn't it mean that its now final? |

| read the index.txt and you will know that it is till a beta.. ftp://ftp.asuscom.de/pub/ASUSCOM/BIO...luxe/index.txt There is standig : 1007__08.ZIP P4C800 ACPI BIOS 1007 beta 08 !!! hope they will make the final better, my SoundBlaster Audigy 2 dose'nt play the rear channels in bios 1007-7, havent checked 1007-8 yet.. | 1007.008 BIOS Boosts RAID0 Performance Just installed the 1007.008 beta BIOS and it seems to have given me a significant (5%) boost in RAID0 File System performance ... w/ 1007.006 BIOS, Sandra File System Drive Index was about 65 KB/s ... w/ 1007.008, am getting 68 KB/s!!! Also, Check out the attached ATTO benchmark results !!!
