*** rampage ii extreme ***

Just bought this yesterday at Microcenter. Installed last night, all went well and easy. Also picked-up the i7 920 chip, 6 gig's of Corsair memory. Gone-a pick up 6 more gig's of Corsair today. Everything running @ defult for now. I have a learning curve with this new-tech/Rampage II. This mobo is a beauty and it does about everything period. I'll be posting more here as I get the hang of oc'ing this bundle of eye-candy. CPU cooled by
chemicals/water.

Re: *** rampage ii extreme ***

Playing with the numbers I came up with a fast, stable, so far 24/7 O/C. Notice the even temps across all four chips. By lowering the multi anr raising the bus speed it gave me a faster score in Super-PI. This is another great oc'ing chip, like the ole Northwood chip. The mobo also play's a lot into a good oc, to say the least....

Re: *** rampage ii extreme ***

The heat pipes of the Rampage 2 ....work....the reason, their well made. And screwed with real metal screws, into the mobo. No stinking plastic pins....
