| Re: Random crashes/restarts SLi + overclocked QX6850 Same as before........ restarts or freezes..... Think i might need a v-droop mod. Noticed after changing the cpu v-core to 1.4125v in bios it never registered in CPUID or OCCT! Instead it reads stock 1.360v! Am I doing something wrong? I am afraid to do the v droop.... What does the v droop mod do anyways?

That's really a big droop. A voltage mod will take up some of the droop or all of it. Raise your Vcore untill ya see some voltage gain. Then you'll know how big the droop is. If you have voltage readings in the bios, you can do it all there. Set vcore and restart, then look in the bios to see what the new voltage is.

Well Ive done the pencil thing....... Not sure if I pressed hard enough or enough strokes....3. Anyways....with it still at the same setting.....1.4125v. I managed to hit 1.384v. Should I increase it in the bios? Why is it such a big vdroop? What can I do to fix this....? What about the other volts?

| Re: Random crashes/restarts SLi + overclocked QX6850 You're asking me about a mobo that I haven't run in awhile. The only or a partial fix, for vdroop is some sort of mod. You should try to see what Evga forums have on this problem. Maybe try googling your problem.
