| 9500np conductive paint hard mod (question)... Hi guys. I have a 9500np saphire built by ati. I was interested in trying to convert the 9500np to a 9700pro using the conductive paint mod. My question is, since the original bios that the card comes with, is unlocked and overclockable do I still need to flash to the 9700pro bios for the mod to work properly? Any help will be appreciated. |

| Hi computergeek!! In answer to your question, after you do the conductive paint mod, you have to flash to the unlocked ati9700 bios in order to enable all 8 piplines. Last edited by computergeek; 03-07-2003 at 09:57 PM.. |

For some reason that sounds so funny- the card that can be practally be turned into anything By the way, do you have a link to that site. I heard of a FireGl soft mod but not the hard mod. | |
