nice read, i see the 128mb 9800Pro version is only a slight increase over the 9700Pro, i wonder what a 256mb version would be like....

So it's about 15% faster.
(That is about the increase in clock speed)

anyone know why their Topline chip is runnng on 0.15µ and their slower RV350 on 0.13µ ?

wouldn't it be logical if they put their highest frequency together with their best chip.

(maybe it's because of price or release time issues)

well its a killer for ati,because there wont be a retail gf fx ultra just the FX lower clocks ,yeah i was wondering the same y did they make the 9600pro with the .13 and only use 4 pipes? it only has a higher clock speed compaired to the 9500pro,id like to know how it compaires
