If you can buy that card a similar price as the others I'd go for this card. I had a Leadtek GeForce 3 with hardware monitoring and it was fun to have that feature....

Cooling looks cool as well should U have a window on your case.

my vote is for the 9700Pro, there should be price cuts and the performance diference between the 9800Pro and 9700Pro isn't enough to justifiy a 9800Pro to me. I have had my 9700Pro since Sept. and i love it.

I have never had a Tyan video card, but I had a Tyan motherboard and they seem to make a quality product.

That looks like a nice card.
Enjoy!

Anyone else think spending 399$ on a video card that will be obsolete in 1 year is silly?

But there are always going to be better cards! If you buy the best, you have the best for at least a few months. If, on the other hand you buy a slow video card, well, then you're stuck with a slow one to begin with. You'll never have the best if you do this.

I spend $299 on my Retail AIW Radeon 32 DDR when it first came out a few years ago, and it has served me well ever since. It may not be the fastest now, but hey, it's only money after all.
