ATI TV Wonder VE with XP and P4PE

Please help.

If anyone has this set-up, please check your device manager for the ATI Driver list.

Mine has the following:

ATI TV Wonder Audio Crossbar
ATI TV Wonder Video Crossbar
ATI TV Wonder Audio Capture
ATI TV Wonder Video Capture
ATI TV Wonder TV Tuner

I had it working, but I installed a Promise PCI ATA Controller, and moved the TV Tuner Card. When the 7.6 drivers installed, it installed the the Audio/Video Capture Drivers automatically. I could not cancel the installation, as indicated in the READ ME.

Do the drivers in the driver list need to be the WDM Drivers ??

My Audio Capture shows IRQ 10
My Video Capture shows IRQ 20, which is the same as the On-Board LAN Controller.

Any assistance would be much appreciated. I had the Card in PCI slot 2, then I moved it to 3. Neither seemed to work.

I had the same setup but...I had so many problems with the ATI TV Wonder that I ditched it for a leadtech Winfast 2000 tv card and I am so happy I did. I have "zero" problems with my new tv card...I love it. I advise that you get rid of the "TV Blunder" and get a real tv capture card.

Did you manage to get this working? I have the same setup (ATI TV Wonder, P4PE and XP) and I can't seem to get it working for the same reason.

Got it going, well sort of.

Re-Format
Clean Install, Per Mr. Steveo's Driver and OS Installation Guide
Service Pack 1a
Installed TV-Wonder in PCI Slot 5
Add new hardware wizard detected TV Wonder VE, and installed the Video and Audio Capture Drivers (non-WDM).
Add new hardware wizard detected new hardware, but I cancelled installation.
From device manager, I updated the driver for the Video and Audio, that XP automatically installed.
I used the MMC 7.6 Drivers, and selected the WDM driver.
From device manager, I updated the driver for the Unknown Deices.
I used the MMC 7.6 Drivers, and selected the WDM driver.
Ended up with the WDM drivers for Audio Capture and Crossbar, Video Capture and Crossbar, and TV Tuner.
Worked, but no audio, I have tried Line-In and Mic on the On-Board Sound.
Made image of HDD.
Going to try with my Promise ATA 100 Controller card and SB Live.

I agree, just invest in the Leadtek if you are planning on a new TV Tuner card in the near future. Pop the card in and CD in, and WinXP has no problems installing all the drivers.

The ATI cards are a big pain to install under WinXP but there are quite a lot of discussion on the matter over at www.rage3d.com.

Are you asking who sells them or who is using the card?

NCIX $63.72
It was discounted about $7-8 like two days ago at NCIX, but now it's back to the regular price Or you can try here:
Newegg $54.99

Great, but remember, this is a TV Tuner/Capture card and not a video card. It doesn't replace a video card, you will still need one.
