| Best choice for $150-200? Currently in the process of making final decisions on a new system I'm building. I thought I had everything pared down except for deciding on the case. However, I seemed set on a GeForce4 Ti4200 card, but now I'm a little hesitant with the rollout of the GeForce FX soon. I'm not sure if I should stick with the Ti4200 or else wait for some price drops in the others Ti4400 or 4600, OR even consider switching to a Radeon-based card - 8500 or 9000? Is the 4600 much better than the 4200 factoring in price? I hear a lot more conflicts with Radeons, so would tend to stay with nVidia but unsure now. Anything will be a HUGE upgrade over the 32MB card I currently have. I'm obviously not a big gamer, though I do play here and there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! John |

If you want to spend between $150-200 and get the most for your money I would suggest an ATI All-In-Wonder 8500DV. I've seen them at Best Buy for $199.00..... Not only are you getting a great graphics card 2D and 3D but also.... TV tuner, video capture and 2 extra firewire ports.

| If I wasn't in a hurry, I would wait for the $79 geforce fx that are suppose to come out sometime in the near future. It will be a dx9 card that will have a performance around a ti 4600. |
