They are looking good (not bad considering these are not the performance enhancing ones).
At stock I've gained 400pts in 3DMark03 which is actually near enough a 10% gain.

This doesn't actually make any sense.
If I could be bothered I'd roll back to the Cat3.1 and do 3DMark03 again as it makes no sense these drivers have given me a 10% increase.

Let us just say the 3.2's appear nice and stable and don't seem to cause any new problems at all.

You have a P4S8X in one machine, and a Parhelia in another? I'm not surprised you are having problems!

In any case, why the hell is your AGP voltage so high???

NHB, you already posted this somewhere else. It's OK, but one post would be much better.

Anyway, as for your problem, there are a couple of options. Since you can't play any of your games, you should uninstall the 3.2's and any other graphics "tweak" program. Then, restart your computer and undo any overclock you have on your system. When you get into windows, try again, making sure you follow the instructions on the ATI website exactly. I can't tell you how many times I just installed the driver and didn't realize there are other components on the website that I needed to install also.

Good Luck!

AGR964

I had the same problem with 3.1 and I never have overclocked. I was hoping this would fix it freezing on me. As far as I know I didnt omit any steps. My agp voltage is higher because I heard it would be better for stability, no?

Probably not a good idea. default AGP voltage is all that is needed. It's been my experience that any more will not provide any additional stability.

3.2 looks to be rock solid. Performance is about the same as 3.1 Image quality is decent. Many bugs fixed. ATI did a good job.

Im still doing some testing but so far so good.

For those of you having problems that didnt exist with the previous drivers; its likely you didnt clean the old drivers out properly before installing the new ones. On the front page of www.driverheaven.net is a realy great tool called Driver Cleaner.

Download it, follow the instructions in the read me file and you should have a good transition to the new drviers.
