Re: EVGA Precision - OC Utility

Nice! I use the current 1.6 with GTX 285 red skin and it works great.

OT, I went for the first EVGA GTX 285 on EVGA's site the morning of release. It is the regular version only but boy does it OC. I read some GPU's are binned and make their way from FTW, on down to SSC and SC according to performance testing but my card must not have come from the binned chips because I can easily OC to FTW speeds. A lot of regular 285's won't go near that speed. I also have a very cool running computer and my 285 temps stay low no matter what I do. That is why I feel I have the best running system I have ever had.

Re: EVGA Precision - OC Utility

I have had a lot of memorable video cards and my current one is destined to be one of them. I got my card the day they were released and it is not a binned card. I can go above FTW speeds and have never had a bad frame or a heat problem. I run constant at SSC speeds. I will try to wait for the second version of the 40nm DX11 part from EVGA around Q1/2 '10.

The desire in 2010 is:
Windows 7
Intel Gulftown
Triple DDR3
SSD
DX11 video card
