Geforce4 ti 4200 O/C *help*

Ok i have some sort of a clue what i am doing.
I am using Riva tuner to O/C my card but it doesnt seem to want to go past 553 memory clock, umm well does that mean it is clocked to the max or can this card go higher? would anyone know what the max clocking settings are or if i should use a different program
much is appreciated

That's probably as high as she'll go, but what kind of Ti4200 do you have? Also, if you can, look at the writing on the ram chips on your card - they can clue you in to how high a ceiling they have depending on rating.

Also, in RivaTuner, the description of the card on the first screen will have either an A1, A2, or A3 rating. Later Ti4200's are A2's and A3's, which are 4400 and 4600 cores respectively, which of course means the core can be clocked higher than usual.

My card is the Asus V8420 GF4ti 4200?
well in riva it says that it is an A3:confuse2:

I have found "coolbits" to be much more accurate and alot easier to use.

Does V8420 have 444Mhz DDR ? if yes 533Mhz is probably the max you will be able to go


I use the software that come with my Card (WinFox) and I can hit 600Mhz DDR, but at normal speed it's 513Mhz not 444 like first Ti4200
