Monitors

Where should I go if I'm looking for info on a good flat screen monitor?

Sorry... I didn't really know of an appropriate place to ask here on AB.

If you want to play games with a Flat Panel you will pay extra for anything below 24ms (response time) here is a link to a sight that has a lot of specs on different brands.

http://www.monitordepot.com/TheWeb/m...ison_chart.htm

the average flat panel is slow, the faster the better for graphics.

The Viewsonic VG170M(BK) is the best for video and games.

View Sonic VX900!

UT is great on my 19in. flat panel. I got it for 700.00 with the shipping second day! I'll have to try to lookup where.

Cool, thanks. I'm thinking 17", but I'm not looking too seriously yet. I'm planning on getting a new mobo, ram, and processor out of the way first and I think I'll be doing that around Canterwood time.

No it's not!
Well it is good, I'm just saying that it is not "The Best".
The two gamers favourites as the moment are:

NEC 1760NX (16ms, 450:1)
Hitachi CML174SXWB (16ms, 400:1)

I did create an LCD buyers guide which was posted to this forum, do a quick search and you should be able to find it.
