| Best Buy had them for $399 with a $100 in store rebate. $299 is almost pricewatch price, and at a retail store no less. I bet they will be ~$225 when the 9800 pro cards come out. |

| the price for 9700 Pro is really good and even so, the 9800 Pro 128MB may not worth getting it, stick with 9700 Pro for the sake's of money and may be when the 256MB version hit the shelf that is when it is worth upgrading

| Congrats and smart move! I doubt the 9700 Pro will go under $299. That woud be blatent underselling and no retailer is going to do that. Also the 9800 Pro will be seilling at $399 and the 9800 at $349.

| I have had this card for 3 months and even though I'm a lazy assed fool who lets the fan stay idle 'cos it doesn't work the card runs FAST. Good p[urchase, but I would have suggested you wait a bit till the 9800 Pro comes out to lower the price a bit :P |
