No display on my monitor

I just got done putting a computer together for the first time. Problem is, I get no display on my monitor. It is a P4PE/L MB with a GF4 Ti4200. When i start it up, it posts a beep like it should but of course I can't see whats going on. I've double checked everything.
any ideas?

thanks!

First of all, I would try clearing the CMOS on the mobo. If that doesn't work, do you have another machine to test your GF-card in? And even test your monitor on another machine. You never know you might have a bad card/monitor on your hands. If all that failes I'm sure somebody will come up with another sollution.

No video, usually means problem with Memory or graphics card.
