Oh I See

So I just took out my Radeon 9700 Pro and felt the fan was kinda stiff, so when I put it back in to take a look it wasn't working! I think it has been like this all along and I want to know what I could ry before RMAing or something else drastic.

You could replace the heatsink/fan combo, but that'd void your warranty I'd bite the bullet & get an RMA if I were you...

My $0.02...

Yeah just RMA it. Unless there is some long piece of string or lots of dustbunnies clogging the fan, anything else you do to try and fix it is likely to void the warranty. Then youre really SOL.

It always sucks when impressive and critical hardware goes bad. But int he end Im sure it will all work out

Okie then I'll go to the retailer I bought it from today and ask them what I can do... just wondering though, how do I get it RMAed because the retailer I went to is effing slow and I doubt they would want to help me RMA it. : |
