| powered by ati vs made by ati drivers? Does anyone know if there is a significant difference between the two drivers. I recenty tried both versions for cats 3.2. For some reason the made by ati graphics look better (could be my imagination) then the powered by ati which seems a little better performance wise. Can anyone confirm this? I did these tests using a moded saphhire radeon 9500/9700 (its the red card version). |

| I cannot answer your question, although I use the drivers for "made by ATI" cards with my "powered by ATI" Sapphire card. I also had poorer results with the drivers for "powered by ATI" cards, although it has been a while and I do not recall what the difference was. Incidentally, the Catalyst 3.1 drivers cleared up the last problem I had, so I am not planning on updating anything unless some future problem comes along. |
