| Setting up a new video card? I just recently purchased a new EVGA nVidia 9800GT 1GB video card and need a little bit of help fine tuning it. Several years back MaxPC did an excellent article on setting up both an ATI card and a nVidia card including all of the fine tuning settings that go along with these cards. Can anyone please help me out with a little advice as to where I should set the choices in the nVidia control panel? The biggest problem I'm having is with the AA and AF settings. I'm having trouble getting rid of jagged edges I find in my train sim. This mostly has to do with viewing the rails ahead. One rail will be perfectly razor sharp while the other has nothing buy jagged edges. I did D/L the latest drivers for the 9800. Thanks, gtirr |

| Re: Setting up a new video card? Try forcing AA transparency in the NV control panel. Best to force only on games you need it on and not globally. IMO leave all other setting in NV control panel application controlled and use the in game settings instead.
