| AMD releases Catalyst 7.11 graphics driver AMD has just released the November update of its Catalyst driver package. The new version does not deliver any features, but focuses on improvements for the games Bioshock, Call of Juarez, Doom 3, Fable, Hellgate, Lord of the Rings, PT Boats, World in Conflict, Rainbow Six Vegas, as well as Serious Sam: The Second Encounter Demo. AMD says that an issue in Roxio’s Creator Premier 9 that caused a burn process to fail at the encoding preview has been resolved. A previously released hotfix for Crysis is not part of this update. | Re: AMD releases Catalyst 7.11 graphics driver It would have been better if ATI had released these drivers BEFORE the 3850/3870, as some of those games are used in benchmarks. |

| Re: AMD releases Catalyst 7.11 graphics driver Well, they do claim to offer a certain bug fix for viewing hi-def video. I installed the 7.11's on my workstation and had two different digital audio workstations (Pro Tools 7.4 and Adobe Audition 3.0) crash and my system rebooted itself. Nasty. I removed the 7.11's, rolled back to the 7.10's and haven't had the issue return.

| Re: AMD releases Catalyst 7.11 graphics driver I use the Rhapsody music service. 7.11's killed the DRM scheme. I had to roll back to listen to music again. I only found out because it is happening to everyone on their boards with ATI. |
