| Multiplier's varying in CoreCenter? Big trouble: On my Neo 4 Platnium[7125] which a few days after installing a Opteron dual core 170, the “CoreCenter” is showing multiplier’s that are going up + down as such: 229NHZ x10 , then 224MHZ x 8.5 or a 234MHZ x 11.5 .. I now see it going from 6-14x ??? Iam thinking the CoreCenter “ got screwed up when I went to Dual Core ? The Max multiplier in the board BIOS is 10x . Real strange ! Also, its now showing a small voltage fluxuation across the all the rails ? The latest Bios ‘v1.D’ was installed, both cores are showing up . The highest core temp was 41 gaming at 2.6MHz. I've lower it to 2.2 for now. As any one had troubles like this ?? I never had this variance in CoreCenter show up before . Please Help me out .![]() |

| CoreCenter+Multiplier's The problem is solve , on a MSI neo 4 Platinum the CoreCenter Apt. doesn't work property with a Dual core . I was getting some short freezes. I removed CoreCenter. The work around is using "PcAlert4",which reads [1] CPU+systems temps and all voltage rails. Every thing works Great now. Also ,I found another program to check [2] core temps, called "Coretemp" . This sure had me worried about the new Opteron 170, the screwy readings. Hope this helps some one else.. |
