Easiest way to update BIOS I've ever run across------and it keeps all my settings from one flash to the next....Slick

NEVER had that before.....

Always had to go into BIOS and reset EVERYTHING after a flash

1. Fixed the key may lag in BIOS setup when a Turbo Mode ratio was selected.
2. Supported EIST function when CPU ratio is in manual mode.
3. Adjusted max value of CPU ratio setting according to the number of cores active in BIOS setup.
4. Fixed setup item "CPU Ratio Setting" may disappear if down CPU ratio.
5. Fixed Vista may loading slowly when populated memory size is larger than 3GB and with high-end VGAs.

Thanks Chuck----will load it within a couple of days.

The last fix looks interesting as I have a lot of memory and a high end VGA card.

Thats good, they pulled 1604.

I am having a problem w/ chassis fans 2 & 3. And I have Q-Fan disabled. May need to RMA.

Look at the sig, an OC'ed HD 4850

Re: ASUS P6T Deluxe (x58/ ICH10R)

BIOS 1611 dated 8/26 are now out on the Asus site----not a BETA

And it also requires you to flash the Marvell RAID controller with a new Firmware which is also on the Asus site....

EZFlash2 DID NOT hold all my old settings this time and the flash completely removed my overclock profile from Asus Overclock Profile.

It was a complete BIOS reset----you lose everything from old settings. Luckily I had all my original settings and RAM timimings written down. I also discovered that you can export your oveclock profile to a USB flash drive that has been set up as a DOS boot drive.

That way you can just import your settings from that drive if you ever have a complete BIOS reset.....

Handy......

New BIOS seem fine----don't notice any difference

I did not loose any bios settings, but, I needed to call MS to re-activate. And, I lost my dual boot and needed to do bootrec/fixboot. Lost my Activation in Win7 also. Can't get that one back. I will wait and get an OEM and a SSD drive for my #2 OS.
