Do i have to buy a new processor for the MB?
Should i buy more memory sticks? Or should i buy faster memory, should i sell the sticks that the computer orginally came with or should i keep the new one i bought and sell the others?

As of now, if you buy the MOBO that Qxp suggested, your processor and memory should work just fine with it. In my opinioin, the only reason to buy more/different memory is if you actually "NEED" more than 1gb of memory. So, you need to base that decision on your usage, needs, games, applications, etc.

Did you state in your earlier posts that you are upgrading because you have only 1 PCI slot?

Then, you are making a sound decision. You stated that you want to upgrade your video card to a PCI Express video card. This will improve Everquest over your current card assuming you buy a nice PCI-e card. Have you decided on a card yet?

Another thing to consider here is your power supply. As noted earlier, you may be increasing the power demands to the point that you will have to get a new PSU. If you under power your system, you can get instability and it is possible to damage parts with an insufficient PSU. Can you list the specifications for your new video card that you want and can you list them for the PSU currently in the HP machine?

Oxp stated- Ok, then...A 7600GT is a great graphics card for about $200 US. An ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe would be a nice board, $160 at ncix. An Enermax Liberty ELT400AWT PSU, $80 at NCIX, $100 for the 500W. All that leaves is the case, a good case will be in the area of $100-150 US.

so i am at this point choosing these options. unless someone can advice better.

That is a nice card...Bit on the expensive side though. I'd go for a 7900GT and save a couple hundred $$$. As for the ram, maybe sell the original ram and get a second Dimm of the Corsair DDR533 you bought. It will have greater bandwidth.
