Question

Hello from Gerrmany,

I have a cusl-c with celeron 700,512 mb sdram(2*256mb toshiba,unbuffered,pc133mhz).
Now I will change the cpu to PIII 1Ghz.
When I use the correctly settings for these cpu(133mhs fsb,7,5multiplier) the systems hangs in the bootmenue and I can`t start win2k.
When I use the security settings after change the cpu(66mhz fsb,7,5 multiplier) is the system running with 500mhz. I use the Jumperfree settings from asus, bios is the newest.
What do I wrong ?
Sorry for my bad english !

i think your memory timing is wrong
just force ur memory to run at 3/3/3 and try to overclock
to 135 or 136 if this worked and you booted win2k
then its ur memory

Carsten:

Set memory in BIOS:
3X2X2
7,9
and everything will be OK!
