Help, ny system is messed???

not sure how it all works..bad MB? bad bios? dead battery? system does nothing on power-up? little led on inside for power,hdd spins in fact I used a usb/sata adapter to gain access and copy contents over to an external..YEAH!
does anyone have any ideas? I took a sata drive from reserve and that does the same?can't seem to access any bios or anything-Dell530 desktop

Double posting doesn't help you any faster than single.

If you were able to access your harddrive and getting some data off to a usb drive you'll have to explain this since you don't have any monitor to view what you keying and/ responses from the system. Clearly by magic.

Possible MB, CPU, HD, Power supply failure ( if you really accomplished what you stated ) then that rules out almost all of the afore mentioned components.

The trouble shooting techniques is disconnect everything HD, Floppy, CD, remove all but 1 stick of ram and see if it boots. Then if it does. add 1 item back a time until the failed component is isolated.

no luck..well I believe I have a bad MB..? sucks! anyway to gain access to bios/cmos settings? does not complete post....

well I've made some excellent process today,Got it to boot...appears either DVI cable or moniter circuitry.
