I haven't tried any overclocking so far (3GHz on the CPU are my first goal) but playing Crysis @1440x900 with everything High (no AA) and is really smooth.

Sometimes i think how stupid i am for buying all that expenisve pc stuff, for wasting so much time upgrading this rig, installing software and playing games.
And please don't count how many times i said things like "this will be my last upgrade for a very long time".

Hmm, I should try that - of course with Vista I have ~70 processes running after boot up

Hmm, all my scores have been with XP, haven't tried it with vista so far (only 3dmark Vantage).

Let's see if anything changes. ~70 processes? Even without tweaking that sounds kinda high to me.

I really wanted 17,000 with this machine and I finally hit it. 17,306 with a lil help from the EVGA OC tool.

Intel E-8500 @ 3.16 GHz @ 3.8GHz - CPU
Intel dp45sg - mobo
EVGA GTX 260 216core Super Clocked - GPU (single card)
G. Skill 2x2gb DDR 3 1333MHz - Ram
Corsair TX750W - power
Western Digital 500gb - hard drive (no raid)

A 1/2 dozen are mine (things I have start up), but the rest are for Vista Ultimate 64
