| Try using a lower multiplier (10 maybe) and see if you can boot above 220. If not, then you may need to relax the timings a little and possibly increase VCore. |

| ok, 225x4, mem at 2.5 3 3 7 (i think that is the correct format), mulit x11 i got into XP, so does that mean the timings were too tight? here is the score.

| Might have been the timings. I know that the Rev.2 Platinums like 2.5-3-3-7. Nice score. |

| thanks Sierra, i know it isn't close to some of your scores, but i am approaching a 10K increase over the old RDRAM setup. what is the proper format for listing my settings? here is 230x4

| You mean the timings? Most people list the four main ones in this order: Cas latency Trcd Trp Tras 230X4. Is that 230X11 with LDT at 4x? |

| Generally people will list their CPU speed as (HTT X multiplier). For example, 230X11. You will find that 3DMark01 is more CPU-dependant than 3DMark03 and 3DMark05. Higher CPU speeds, especially with an A64 processor, will benefit your scores in a big way. |

Check your motherboard CD for a monitoring program. I use various ones including Everest Home Edition. Freeze-up's in 3DMark are often VGPU-related. Either the core on the video card is clocked too high or it's getting very hot. | |

| hmmm, ok then. maybe i should set that back to stock speeds for OC'ing tests then huh? here is 242x11 and the monitoring program that came with my mobo, reports my cpu at 27C (i don't believe that since at idle and stock speeds the bios reported 30C) and i am not overclocked 470mhz. also, does underclocking the HTT make much difference in performance (i am at 968 now, instead of 1000 stock)
