| An idea: 1. Boot using a DOS boot disc. Format. It'll have to be FAT32. You can make a DOS boot disc by right-clicking the floppy drive in XP, selecting "Format" and specifying "Create an MS-DOS startup disk". Or you can download a boot disc from http://www.bootdisk.com/. 2. Reformat the disc as NTFS from within XP. Another thought - do you still have the other disc? If so, connect it to the other channel of the RAID controller and, on reboot, reset the discs to non-RAID. |

| Try using disk management, click Start - Run - compmgmt.msc. Maybe you can whack the partition are recreate it.

Still as my previous post. ie Now formatted & working of my VIA connector as a single drive but want to format as FAT32 but it wont let me Strange thing - When I connect an ide drive to the ide connectors (Pri Master) it defaults to that being the boot drive. (My SATA RAID0 are the Boot). Confusing. I thought that if I could get it to work on the normal IDE connectors it might let me do a FAT32 format. plus id rather connect it here than on the VIA as it keeps it all tidy Thanks for the replies CSX ![]()
