Problem with DVD and CUSL2-C solved!

I discovered that software that comes with my DVD-creative is NOT compatible with the ASUS board.I am now running WINDVD and it works PERFECTLY

So for anyone who could not get their DVD's to work...download WINDVD.....run your DVD's from that program....

Thanks

What's this?

I am about to do the dvd part of my project here. So, what is the story with the Creative software? Is that the Ovation you all are discussing?

I used win dvd that came with my hitachi 12x but the movie was to dark, adjust the brightness to max and still to dark. so i adjust the brightness with the video card control panel and the movie was fine but the desktop was all washed out. so i used asus dvd 2000 that came with my vid card and it works great, it has more options in there control panel, i will use asus dvd for now.

Peace
Ed

Good information here.

I installed the software that comes with the Creative Ovation. It comes with Intervideo WinDVD. Is that the app your talking about, RyuQuikhan, cryogen, and ed? It is running the dvd-rom disk and showing on the monitor fine.

But I like to have a lot of control. So I am going to try the ASUSDVD 2000 software.

Does anyone know if the remote control that comes with the Creative Live Drive can control the DVD disk at all?
