| Let me just say, this is AWESOME! I love 108mbps wireless, it gives me around 6mbps. This being with about 7 other wireless networks interfearing with the signal. So if you are looking for a good setup, get the Super-G!!! Now of course range is a question, I tested the range and can get on with 50% signal two streets away with another appartment complex in the way, leaving me VERY happy with signal streingth. No cut outs either. I can post some throughput benchies and pics of the netgear apps and hardware if you would like. Just post back and let me know.

| Just fine. Both of the items I listed above at B+G compatable. In fact the router can be setup to run as B/G/Super-G or One or two of them. This is actualy a very powerful router.... I can seriously access it through another appartment complex, which is just amazing.

| One last thing, I promse this time. :P I tried the Linksys (SpeedBooster) and the Belkin(XPress Booster), both of these Routers/WAP's were very underperforming. The Belking didn't forward ports correctly and allowed access to router information without logging in. The Linksys just simply put had poar range and for a price tag of $130us it is usless. As it only boosts 20% to all none 'SpeedBooster' nics. Even with SpeedBooster nics which are $90. It only boosts 35% over regular G if you're lucky.

Now remember you need the Super-G nic to really get full speed.... However, I suspect you will take full advantage of a regular G or B nic, maybe even a little better. I suspect you can reach accross the street with this one, if you are serious.

| Just make sure and allow the router to update the firmware itself, there is an option inside the router admin.

| I have the same router (the 624) and I love it. I got it for $60 from newegg after the $25 rebate about a month ago. The only thing you have to be careful about is to check the number on the side of the box against the list of numbers on the Netgear page before you update the firmware. There are some models that do not upgrade to the new firmware. If you try, you will kill the router and need to RMA it. Luckily, I didn't get one.

| A little off topic, but does anyone know how to keep it from cutting off during games? I never get disconnected from the internet, but I do lose connection with games after 2-10 minutes. Someone told me it was a setting, but he didn't remember which. Any of you know?
