| hi i must assume you are using a CUSL2 or CUSL2-C...? since you're posting here hehe check in your BIOS..there is a setting for CPU/FSB/PCI speed..if you re using pc-100 emory make sure this is set to 133-100-33 this lets you run pc-100 ram while your CPU runs at 133 also, what kind of problems are you having?? a few more details might help as well..... hope it helps cryogen

| thanks for the reply! that was quick one too! after winme is done copying files to the hard drive and starts setting up the control panel and system settings it gives me a bunch of errors saying that a XXXX.dll file was unable to load. After the installation, the OS is crap, cant do anything even installing the drivers from cusl2-c driver disk. I tried to install it to my sisters e-machine pc and the installation went fine. I even tried to move the hard drive from hers to mine with winme and BSOD starts to pop out! <sigh> |

| hi no problemo, pretty bored here at werk LOL that sounds like it could indeed be the RAM..did you check your BIOS FSB/SDRAM/PCI setting??? is it 133/100/33? if so..then try using the RAM from the e-machine, see if it werks then..... you got BSOD's prolly because of diff hardware configs..windows doesnt alwys cross over that easily... usually not actually..especially if the e-machine had a different chipset on the mobo..... try swapping the RAM if ya can, that would be the easiest way to find out.. cryogen
