| 2x 1GB Kingston in A7N8X-E? My PC specs are AMD 3200+ Athlon ATI Radeon X800 XL IceQII Turbo Windows XP Pro SP2 ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe 2x 1GB of Kingston in Dual Channel I've just recently upgraded from 2x 512MB of Kingston RAM to 2x 1GB of Kingston RAM but I'm slightly worried because BF2 feels slower than when I had 1GB. Am I just being paranoid or is there some Windows/Motherboard issue with using 2GB RAM? Last edited by JoshuaCalvert : 10-24-2005 at 03:05 PM. |

| Does the new ram have slower timings? Is the board running CPC at 2T now that you have 1GB sticks in? Check those things out

I have no idea what CPC means but the CAS is at 3T according to my BIOS. By the way, the RAM make is Kingmax not Kingston. # Performance range - 200MHz (DDR400 CAS Latency 2.5) # Double-data-rate architecture; two data transfers per clock cycle # Bi-directional data strobe (DQS) # Differential clock inputs (CK and /CK) # DLL aligns DQ and DQS transition with CK transition # Auto & self refresh capability # Edge aligned data output, center aligned data input # Serial presence detect with EEPROM # PCB Height 1.81mm | |
