| BIOS Settings for new PC Alright, I feel like tool asking this question, but it's been so long since I've built a PC, I'm a bit fuzzy on Front-side Bus speeds versus clock speeds, etc. Here's my rig: ASUS A7N8X PCB 2.0 (400MHz FSB) 2x256 Corsair TwinX LLPT (DDR400) AMD Athlon XP 2600+ (333 MHz FSB) Abit Siluro 128MB GeForce4 Ti4200 Now, what should the settings in my BIOS be? Right now, I have them set to: Clock speed: 166MHz Multiplier: 12.5x RAM speed: 120% (running at 200MHz) Latency is set to 2T, the other stuff (can't remember what it's called, but in order from top-to-bottom (AWD BIOS) is 6-3-2. And n a side note, does anyone know about AGP/FSB Spectrum Spread? What's it for, what should mine be set to? Also, how about AGP Fast writes? Thanks, C |
