| Corsair or OCZ for DDR II on P5WD2 + 3.43EE G'day, I've got a P5WD2 with a 3.43 Extreme Edition CPU but I'm looking at buying RAM to match the 1Ghz FSB on it but I cant decide what to buy from OCZ and Corsair. Firstly I'm in Australia, so it limits things a little. My aim is atleast 1GB and preferably 2GB, overclocking isnt of that importance to me but quality and performance is. Some I picked out from looking around: - OCZ 1GB PC2-5400 DDR2 Platinum Enhanced Bandwidth Dual Channel $473 - OCZ 1GB PC2-4200 DDR2 Platinum Enhanced Bandwidth Ltd. Revision 2 Dual Channel $550 - Corsair 2GB (2 x 1GB Kit) Value Select PC4200, 240Pin DDR2 RAM [ Its value any good? ] $282 - Corsair 1GB TWIN2X1024A-5400UL 240-Pin DDR2 RAM $510 - Corsair 1GB TWIN2X1024A-4300C3PRO 240-Pin DDR2 RAM $366 - Corsair 1GB TWIN2X1024-8000UL 240-Pin DDR2 RAM $441 - Corsair 1024MB TWIN2X1024A-6400 240-Pin DDR2 RAM $310 All above prices are in Australia dollars. Any recommendations? My budget is $800-900 max but love to keep it around $500, workload is mostly with Visual Studio.NET and VMWare/VirtualPC (hence the more memory but its managable with 1GB) Thanks ![]() |

| after a bit of thought... I'm leaning towards the Corsair 1GB TWIN2X1024-8000UL 240-Pin DDR2 RAM and buying two of them. Does that sound good? Whats with GeIL..are they any good? |
