Corsair PC3200 1GB Stick + 512 MB Stick

I recently decided to add another 512 stick of Corsair PC3200 to my Epox 8HDAIPRO. I already had a 1GB stick of the exact same memory and decided to take the 512MB from an unused computer. Anyways, I ran the program CPUZ and it reported both sticks at 100MHz instead of the normal 200MHz. Once I took out the 512, the frequency of the 1GB stick returned to 200. The timings table reported 3-3-3-8. Im not familiar with memory stats.

Is there a way to make both sticks perform at their intended speed? My CPU is an AMD 64 3400+.

Will your bios allow you to set the DRAM frequency manually to 200mhz? In a nutshell, your bios is reducing the overall speed of the memory when you add the 2nd stick. This is likely a chipset limitation.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a way of forcing the motherboard into running each stick at 200MHZ? The bios will not let me change the frequencies.

I attached the cpuz report.

If the bios will not allow it, I don't know of any way it can be done.
