Evga's 780i + OCZ 9200 or 9600?

I am contiplating wether to go with OCZ 9200 or 9600 DDR2 ram. I had 9200 and 1 module fried, so just wondering if it's worth the upgrade of 9600? Any suggestions?

Re: Evga's 780i + OCZ 9200 or 9600?

In you plan on getting a HUGE OC out of that 6600 and you will run unlinked with the memory as fast as possible, the 9600 "might" run a bit faster than the 9200. It will depend on the memory controller. Also, theoretically the 9600 should be better ICs than the 9200. But, I personally would not spend a lot of menoy for that upgrade. If it's a free upgrade on your RMA go for it.
